Delete your Incentiv account
How to request deletion of your Incentiv Transact account and the associated personal data we hold.

How to request account deletion
You can request deletion in either of two ways.
Option 1 — Inside the Incentiv Transact app
On mobile (Android / iOS):
- Sign in to the Incentiv Transact app.
- Open the Profile tab from the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Submit Request.
On web (transact.incentiv.finance):
- Sign in to your Incentiv Transact account.
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to the Security section.
- Click Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then click Submit Deletion Request.
Your request is sent to our team for review and processed within 48 hours. You will receive an email confirmation, and you can revert the request from the app at any time before it is processed. Your Folio access (if any) is not affected by deletion of your Transact account.
Option 2 — By email
If you are unable to sign in, email[email protected]from the email address associated with your Incentiv account with the subject line"Account deletion request". Include your full name and registered phone number. We will verify your identity and process the request within 7 business days.
What is deleted
Once your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove:
- Profile information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Preferences and watchlist
- Communication history and in-app notifications
- Authentication credentials and session data
- Device identifiers and analytics events linked to your account
What is retained, and why
As an entity providing services related to India's regulated securities and private markets, we are legally required to retain certain records even after an account is deleted:

Retained records are stored separately, encrypted at rest, and accessed only when legally required (e.g., regulator request, audit, dispute). They are not used for any product or marketing purpose after deletion.
Timeline
- Deletion request acknowledged: within 24 hours
- Account deactivation: within 48 hours of request submission
- Personal data deletion (non-retained categories): within 30 days
- Retained categories permanently deleted: at the end of their legal retention window listed above
